Tonight the company received the keys for the brand new squad a 2015 f350. It will be used for transporting firefighters to trainings and respond to assist the ambulance on cardiac arrest calls, and also to pull the boat and kabota that until now has been pulled using members personal vehicles.
At almost midnight last night the company was dispatched to a report of a one vehicle accident overturned in a field. Upon arrival the company found one patient out of the vehicle they helped ambulance 88-1 with patient care and lighting for the state police.
Tonight members showed up to training, the only thing they were told was to dress warm. Upon arrival to the station they were told you have one victim stuck in the center of a pond(an orange ring buoy) on soapstone hill road your time starts now.
Last night while the company was at the station preparing for the potential snow storm they were hit out for a vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer with entrapment. Rescue 89 arrived and stabilized the vehicle.
Have engine, will travel engine 89-3 assisted a few Maryland companies tonight while they fought a building fire in a junk yard. Engine 3 started in Charleston md. Then traveled to northeast to stand by for them.
At 630 on January 12th the company was dispatched for a mobile home fire. Chief 89 went on scene with heavy smoke showing on all four sides. Engine 89-1 arrived and pulled two hand lines and found fire just inside the door.
The numbers are in we would like to thank everyone for another successful new years day dinner. Every year it is alot of work but we enjoy seeing the community come out to support us. So here are some facts about this year's dinner that really put that work in perspective.

Members spent Holloween night handing out goodies and taking pictures with all the trick or treaters. Thank you to everyone who came out we had a great time seeing all the kids dressed up.
Today we laid the physical body of our sister christi to rest but her her impact on this earth will live on forever. She effected the lives of everyone and her legacy will be carried out by all of her brothers and sisters in the fire service.
At about 12:10 PM, Station 89 was dispatched for a working fire at 1161 Pilgrims Pathway . Chief Tomlinson arrived on scene with smoke showing and a working fire that began in the kitchen area. Engine 891 arrived with six and advanced lines to begin fighting the interior fire .
@ approximately 12:28 Station 89 was dispatched for a vehicle accident involving a car versus a pole. Engine 893 arrived on scene with 5. confirming a pole down. Crew from 3 depowered car. Ambulance 88 had one patient with no injuries.
~~Friday, January 10, 2014 - At 2:10 pm, the pre-alert for a house fire in the 1900 block of Lancaster Pike in Fulton Township was put out by LCWC. Chief 89 (Tomlinson) arrived with a working fire in the attic area of a one-story ranch-type dwelling.
At approximately 1:31 station 89 was dispatched for a brushfire at 136 Schoolhouse Rd. safety 89 went on location confirming working brushfire 1/2 acre. Brush 57 was first piece on scene and quickly got it under control.
